DUSKOsound is the award-winning sound design and music studio of Dusko, a Vancouver, BC sound designer and composer with 17 years across games, film, and animation. I work most in sci-fi, fantasy, and horror, the worlds that need a sound of their own.
I write and record custom material in house, and back it with an extensive collection of licensed sound libraries, so nothing is ever missing from the palette. When I bring in a session musician, the contract gives me full copyright, so your world stays one coherent sound with a single author behind it.
Beyond client work, I designed presets and an extensive sample pack for Warp Academy’s Darkside Funk, designed a comprehensive Serum course, and have released a handful of albums. One of them, the Artifacts LP, was reworked into a 20-track remix compilation by artists across the global bass scene, including Ahee, Flintwick, Phydra, Sixis, Smigonaut, and Pedestrian Tactics. Darkside Funk carries five-star reviews from artists including Slynk, Stickybuds, David Starfire & Phuture Primitive.
My work has won three Best Music festival awards for the animated short Monomyth, and a game I scored, Fallen, was featured on IGN. I have delivered sound and score for studios and directors across games, film, and animation, in 2D, 3D and AI-assisted pipelines. I have built the complete sonic palette from scratch for several IPs. One of them is In Search of Substance, a story in Calder Moore’s In Search universe, where I directed the full audio identity, from hand-performed foley to faction music.
